Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), India’s beloved quiz show, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. As part of this celebration, Babita Tade, fondly known as “Khichdi Kaku,” made a special appearance, reminding viewers of her incredible journey.
Babita Tade’s Remarkable Story
Babita Tade won ₹1 crore on KBC Season 11 and became a symbol of humility and determination. She used to work as a school cook, serving khichdi to children, but her life changed after her win. Today, she is a teacher at the same school, inspiring many women to dream big and overcome challenges.
Reflecting on her time on KBC, Babita said, “Winning KBC gave me self-confidence that has stayed with me for life. This show gave me the courage to believe in myself.”
Host Amitabh Bachchan admired her dedication and said, “Even after winning ₹1 crore, she never forgot her responsibilities.”
Her Return to the Hot Seat
Back on the iconic KBC hot seat, Babita expressed her gratitude. “KBC changed my life completely. Everything I have today and all the respect I’ve received are because of this show.”
When Amitabh Bachchan asked her if she had a message for viewers, Babita said, “I congratulate KBC and its team for completing 25 years. Thank you for giving people the opportunity to live their dreams and make them come true.”
