Rajat Dalal Clears the Air on Elvish Yadav’s Comment About Chum Darang
Elvish Yadav is once again caught in controversy. This time, it’s because of a comment he made about Chum Darang during a conversation with Rajat Dalal on his podcast, The Little Adda Company. Many people found Elvish’s remark offensive, and the issue quickly gained attention. Now, Rajat Dalal has come forward to explain what really happened.
Rajat Dalal’s Clarification
To address the backlash, Rajat held an Ask Me Anything session on Instagram. He explained that the conversation was scripted, and Elvish was instructed to say those things.
Rajat said, “The roast you saw was scripted. Elvish and I were given a script with lines we had to say to create hype. We were supposed to use certain words to get more attention.”
He further added, “We didn’t know that those parts would actually be included in the final cut. I trusted them and followed the script, but they broke my trust by using those parts. Even Elvish didn’t say those things on his own—he got instructions through an earpiece and just repeated them.”
What Did Elvish Yadav Say?
During the podcast, Elvish made fun of Chum Darang’s name and her role in Gangubai Kathiawadi. He said, “Karan Veer must have had Covid because who would like Chum? Who has such bad taste? Even her name sounds vulgar, and she acted in Gangubai Kathiawadi.”
His comment quickly went viral, and people started questioning how public figures like him could use such disrespectful language.
