Anupamaa Written Update, February 9: Parag Gets Angry After Learning Rahi Is an Orphan; Will He Allow Her to Marry Prem?
In today’s episode of Anupamaa, the Kothari family gets upset after finding out that Rahi is an orphan. Meanwhile, Khyati starts suspecting that Prathna’s marriage is in trouble.
Prem Stands Firm on Marrying Rahi
Prem declares that even if his kundali (horoscope) doesn’t match Rahi’s, he will still marry her. This makes Parag and Vasundhara angry. However, just as the Kothari family is about to leave, a priest arrives and admits that he made a mistake. He says that Rahi and Prem’s kundalis actually match, and Rahi will bring good fortune to Prem.
Despite Anupamaa trying to convince them, the Kotharis still walk away.
Parag’s Outburst Over Rahi’s Past
At home, Parag scolds Gautam for not informing him that Rahi is an orphan. He speaks badly about Rahi and the Shah family.
However, Anil defends Rahi and asks Parag why he is so angry at her. He praises Anupamaa for taking care of an orphan and urges Parag to accept Rahi and let her marry Prem.
But Vasundhara strongly disagrees. She believes that Rahi will leave Prem one day, just like she lost her own family. Gautam supports Vasundhara, but Anil keeps trying to convince Parag. He reminds everyone that Prem is happy because of Rahi and warns that if they separate them, they will lose Prem forever.
Meanwhile, Mahi doubts Rahi’s ability to handle her relationship with Prem, saying it is filled with problems.
Rahi and Anupamaa Worry About the Future
After hearing Mahi’s words, Rahi asks her not to worry. Later, she talks to Ansh about her love for Prem and wonders if the Kotharis will ever accept their marriage.
Anupamaa and Hasmukh discuss how some people never change their old ways of thinking.
Prathna’s Troubled Marriage
Prathna confides in Khyati about her unhappy marriage. Khyati offers to talk to Parag, but Prathna says he won’t understand. Khyati starts worrying about Prathna’s future.
Meanwhile, Gautam warns Prathna not to speak about her problems. He threatens her with serious consequences if she reveals anything.
Prem Feels Heartbroken
Parag and Vasundhara discuss Prem’s marriage and the Shah family. Seeing Prem upset, Rahi tries to comfort him. Prem sadly says that his family doesn’t care about his happiness.
The Kotharis Finally Agree to the Wedding
Khyati, Anil, Meeta, and Raja arrive at the Shah house and announce that they are ready for Prem and Rahi’s wedding. Khyati gives Rahi a diamond necklace as a wedding gift.
Meanwhile, Pakhi tries to impress Meeta by praising Ishaani. She even daydreams about Ishaani marrying into the Kothari family.
Khyati distributes gifts to everyone before leaving. Anupamaa teases Rahi, as her marriage is finally fixed.
Mahi’s Bitterness and Prem’s Struggle
Anupamaa notices that Mahi looks upset. Mahi sarcastically tells Anupamaa that Rahi is lucky to have such a good life. Leela reminds Anupamaa to focus on Rahi’s wedding preparations.
Meanwhile, Prem dreams about his mother. When Khyati comes to talk to him, he coldly tells her not to act like his mother.
Later, Rahi tells Prem that their wedding is officially fixed. They both imagine their future together, but Parag overhears their conversation.
