Rajat addressed the controversy during an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Instagram. He explained that the comments were part of a script and that even Elvish was instructed to say them.
He said:
🗣️ “The roast you saw was scripted. Elvish and I were given a script and told to say certain things to create hype. We used some statements to increase engagement.”
Rajat also added:
🗣️ “We didn’t know they would actually use those parts. I trusted them, but they broke my trust. Elvish didn’t say those things on his own—he was given instructions through his earpiece, and he just repeated them.”
What Did Elvish Say About Chum Darang?
During the podcast, Elvish Yadav made fun of Chum Darang’s name and her role in Gangubai Kathiawadi. He said:
🗣️ “Karan Veer must have had Covid because who would like Chum? Who has such bad taste? Even her name sounds vulgar. Her name is Chum, and she worked in Gangubai Kathiawadi.”
