India’s Got Latent Controversy: Guwahati Police Summons 10 People Linked to Samay Raina’s Show

The controversy surrounding Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent, continues to grow. After multiple FIRs were filed against those involved, the Guwahati Police has now summoned 10 people connected to the show for questioning.

India’s Got Latent landed in trouble after Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Mukhija, and Ashish Chanchlani appeared as guests on an episode where vulgar remarks were made. Ranveer’s inappropriate questions sparked a major backlash, leading to legal action from various authorities and public agencies.

Guwahati Police Summons 10 People for Questioning

According to reports, the Guwahati Cyber Police has summoned over 10 individuals linked to the show. These individuals have been asked to visit the police station and record their statements. The police have also given them a few days to appear and cooperate in the investigation.

Sources reveal that the Guwahati Police is now thoroughly investigating all aspects of this case to gather the necessary evidence.

Assam Police in Pune to Serve Notice to Samay Raina

The Assam Police team has reached Pune to serve a summons to Samay Raina at his Balewadi residence. Meanwhile, their cyber division is stationed in Mumbai, where they have already issued notices to Ranveer Allahbadia and Ashish Chanchlani.

In addition, Maharashtra Cyber Police is also investigating the case along with Mumbai Police.

Maharashtra Cyber Summons 50 People in Connection with the Case

Reports suggest that at least 50 individuals linked to India’s Got Latent have been summoned for statements.

On February 13, well-known television personality Raghu Ram, who was a judge in one of the episodes, recorded his statement with the authorities.

Samay Raina Removes All Episodes from YouTube

After facing multiple FIRs and police action, Samay Raina has deleted all episodes of India’s Got Latent from YouTube. However, the legal proceedings against him and others involved are still ongoing.
