Edin Rose Shares Her Horrifying Experience

“Other than my fingers and eyes, nothing was visible. I’m saying this now before people start judging my clothing.”
She further explained,
“My friend and I were traveling in a rickshaw from Juhu to Bandra, like we always do to relax after a long workday. A drunk man in a Jaguar followed us for 20 minutes, swearing and driving dangerously because he was intoxicated. He kept following us wherever we went.”
Drunk Stalker Refused to Stop
Edin stated that the man was putting everyone’s safety at risk. Even when she recorded his face and car number, he showed no fear.
She added,
“Even after knowing I was recording him, he shamelessly continued stalking us. He only stopped when we reached Juhu Police Station.”
Edin’s Message on Women’s Safety
Amid the ongoing controversy surrounding India’s Got Latent, Edin commented,
“Instead of talking about Latent, focus on women’s safety.”
Identifying the Harasser
Edin revealed that she found out the man’s name and details through his car’s registration number and even searched for him on social media. However, she decided to let the law take action instead of exposing him online.
She also questioned,
“Why don’t such people fear the law? As a society, what are we doing to keep women safe?”
