When Surbhi Chandna Reacted to Being Compared to Dhanashree Verma – THROWBACK
An old video of actress Surbhi Chandna reacting to people comparing her to Dhanashree Verma has gone viral. This comes amid reports of Dhanashree’s divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal.
Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal’s Divorce
Recently, Dhanashree Verma has been in the news due to her alleged divorce from her husband, Yuzvendra Chahal. Reports on February 20 claimed that the two had officially separated. While this news is making headlines, an old interview of Surbhi Chandna has resurfaced, where she was asked about people calling her Dhanashree’s lookalike.
Surbhi’s Reaction to the Comparison
In an interview with Filmygyan, a fan asked Surbhi if she accepted Dhanashree as her sister. Surbhi laughed and replied, “There are seven people in the world who look similar. We have found one, five more to go!”
Talking about Dhanashree, Surbhi said, “From what I know about her, she is an amazing dancer. I believe she has reached where she is today because of her hard work.”
She jokingly added, “If one day she comes to tie me a Rakhi, or I go to her to tie one, we’ll do that (laughs).”
Surbhi Wants to Meet Dhanashree
Surbhi also shared that she has never met Dhanashree but would love to. She even expressed her wish to click pictures with her.
Accepting that they do look similar, Surbhi said, “Sometimes, even I see the resemblance! People often send me messages saying, ‘I thought this was you,’ or ‘Is this Surbhi Chandna or Dhanashree Verma?’”
Dhanashree and Yuzvendra’s Separation
Dhanashree is currently making headlines due to her separation from Yuzvendra Chahal. According to ABP News, the couple legally finalized their divorce on February 20 at the Bandra Family Court. Reports say they had “compatibility issues” and had been living separately for 18 months. However, neither Dhanashree nor Yuzvendra has officially commented on their divorce.
