In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, Rohit recalled how he used to celebrate the festival. He shared,
“I remember going to the temple early in the morning, doing the Shivling puja, pouring milk and water over it, and offering belpatra. But more than that, there was always a peaceful and positive vibe around.”
Even today, he prefers to keep the day calm and reflective. While he doesn’t strictly follow rituals, he makes sure to take some time to meditate and sit in silence.
Lord Shiva’s Importance in His Life
Rohit deeply believes in Lord Shiva’s teachings and values. He said,
“For me, Shiva represents balance—knowing when to stay still and when to take action. His energy, strength, and calmness inspire me every day.”

The actor feels that Maha Shivratri should not be just about fasting and visiting temples, but also about spreading love and kindness. He encouraged his fans to do something good for others, no matter how small.
“Even a simple act like feeding someone, helping those in need, or just being kind can bring you closer to the spirit of Lord Shiva,” Rohit shared.
