Celebrity MasterChef: Ranveer Brar’s Pasta Challenge Makes Tejasswi Prakash Nervous; Contestants Struggle to Keep Up
The latest episode of Celebrity MasterChef turned up the heat in the kitchen with a tough pasta-making challenge. From Gaurav Khanna’s hilarious reaction to Tejasswi Prakash’s nervousness, the contestants had a hard time keeping up with the task.
A Tough Challenge for the Contestants
In Week 5 of the competition, the judges—Ranveer Brar, Vikas Khanna, and Farah Khan—introduced a tricky challenge. The promo showed contestants struggling with pasta-making, from using a pasta machine for the first time to shaping the dough perfectly.
The episode started with Ranveer Brar expertly making pasta, dressed in his chef’s whites. As the contestants entered the kitchen, Gaurav Khanna looked around in confusion and joked, “Where have we come? Are we in the wrong place?”
The Challenge: Three Perfect Pasta Shapes
Ranveer Brar then explained the task:
“Today’s challenge is to make three different types of pasta with fillings inside.”
Vikas Khanna added, “If your pasta shape is perfect, we will raise one flag out of the three placed on your counter.”
The contestants gave it their best shot, but things didn’t go smoothly. Gaurav Khanna, who had never used a pasta machine before, said, “This is my first time seeing a pasta machine. I never knew noodles were made like this!” Meanwhile, Nikki Tamboli struggled to put the dough into the machine. At one point, Khanna raised his hand, thinking he had finished, but the judges pointed out that his pasta shape wasn’t quite right.
Tejasswi Prakash Feels the Pressure
Tejasswi Prakash admitted that she was feeling extremely nervous. “I don’t know if I’ll be able to make these complicated pasta shapes,” she said. Nikki Tamboli, on the other hand, ended up making a completely different shape by mistake. None of the contestants managed to get it right on their first try.
With the competition getting tougher each week, the Celebrity MasterChef contestants are facing new challenges that push them to their limits.
Celebrity MasterChef airs Monday to Friday at 8 PM.
