The latest episode of Shark Tank India 4 (February 26) was full of excitement as Sharks Kunal Bahl and Namita Thapar competed to invest in a promising business.
A Family Business Impresses the Sharks
The second pitch of the day came from a family-run healthy snack brand, Eat Better Co. The team included Mridula, Vidushi, and Shaurya Kanoria, who turned traditional recipes into healthy snacks. Their unique concept, strong sales figures, and confident pitch won the Sharks’ attention.
As soon as the Sharks tasted the products, they praised the quality and pricing. However, Namita Thapar and Vineeta Singh had some questions about the packaging and high-protein claims, which the pitchers clarified. Anupam Mittal, impressed by the mother’s efforts, called her an “inspiration” and expressed pride in seeing her succeed.
Sharks Make Their Offers
When it was time to invest, the competition heated up:
✅ Anupam Mittal was the first to step out, saying he was impressed but joined too late to invest.
✅ Namita Thapar offered ₹50 lakhs for 0.5% equity and 1% royalty until ₹50 lakhs was recovered.
✅ Ritesh Agarwal backed out but promised to help Namita by selling the snacks in his company.
✅ Vineeta Singh made an offer of ₹50 lakhs for 1.5% equity.
✅ Kunal Bahl surprised everyone by offering ₹2.5 crores for 5% equity.
The Big Decision—Namita vs. Kunal
After discussing, the pitchers asked the Sharks to combine their offers, but the investors refused. Anupam Mittal urged them to decide quickly, while Namita stood firm on her offer.
At this moment, Kunal Bahl made a bold statement, saying:
👉 “If you’re focused on valuation, take Namita’s offer. But if you need a strong partner for the long term (10-15 years)…”
Before he could finish, Namita interrupted, saying:
👉 “Hello, Kunal! I am a strong partner!”
The pitchers chose Namita’s offer, making her the winner of this investment battle.
Namita’s Playful Challenge to Kunal
After sealing the deal, Namita jokingly challenged Kunal, saying:
