Vivian Dsena Recalls Facing 350 to 400 Rejections Before Success
Bigg Boss 18 star Vivian Dsena has been winning hearts ever since his appearance on the reality show. Even though he has been in the TV industry for years, Bigg Boss has once again made him a household name. However, his journey to success was not easy. In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Vivian shared his struggles, recalling how he was rejected 350 to 400 times before making it big.
Vivian Dsena’s Struggles in the Early Days
Talking to Pinkvilla, Vivian opened up about his initial days when he used to audition in Aram Nagar, Versova—a place where many aspiring actors try their luck. He said almost every actor has a struggle story from Aram Nagar. Vivian recalled how he would give auditions, but many times, the door would open, and as soon as people saw him, they would shut it immediately.
He shared a painful memory where he wasn’t even allowed to audition and was rejected just by his looks. He often heard, “No, you don’t fit the bill,” even before he got a chance to perform. These constant rejections shattered his confidence, but he believes that facing setbacks is important in life. He said, “Confidence should get shattered sometimes. Ups and downs are necessary because life is not always the same.”
Vivian on Facing 400 Rejections
Vivian revealed that he was rejected 350 to 400 times in his early days. However, he doesn’t consider his struggle as something unique. He humbly said, “Everyone goes through this. I am no one special. Every actor experiences this phase in their life.”
Instead of feeling discouraged, he believes rejection helps an actor grow. He stated, “Rejection is the most important part of an actor’s life. It helps boost confidence in the long run.”
