Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’s Hitesh Bharadwaj on Reuniting with Parents & New Projects

Hitesh Bharadwaj Talks About Reuniting with His Parents and His Future Plans

Hitesh Bharadwaj, known for his role as Rajat Thakkar in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, finally got the chance to reunite with his parents after a year. In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, he shared his emotions about visiting his hometown, Mathura, and also gave hints about his upcoming projects.

Why Hitesh Couldn’t Meet His Parents for a Year

Hitesh revealed that his busy work schedule kept him away from his family. He explained,
“Because of my work commitments, it was really difficult to take time off. I always wanted to meet my family, but my schedule was packed, especially last year when I was busy with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.”

Despite this, Hitesh tries to visit his family after every project. He admitted, “Sometimes, I don’t get the chance, and I regret it. But as soon as a project wraps up, the first thing I do is go to Mathura. Meeting my people there makes me really happy.”

Mathura’s Special Place in His Heart

Hitesh believes staying connected to his roots is very important. Every time he visits Mathura, he feels refreshed and grounded. He shared how the innocence and purity of people in his hometown always bring him peace.

He also recalled his early struggles, including performing in street plays (nukkad natak) and theatre in Mathura. Every time he leaves after meeting his parents, he feels more motivated to do better work.

“Whenever I return, I feel like the same Hitesh who left 12 years ago on a train to try his luck in Mumbai. Seeing Shree Krishna and taking his blessings makes me feel like a zero, not a hero. But after leaving, I get inspired to work hard and become a hero again.”

Upcoming Projects and Future Plans

Talking about his career plans, Hitesh revealed that he hasn’t signed any new projects yet but is reading a few scripts. He also mentioned that he is exploring non-fiction opportunities.

“After Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, taking on a new project is not just about signing a contract—it’s a big responsibility. I want to make sure that when I return to the screen, I don’t disappoint my fans. I want to bring them something meaningful.”

Apart from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Hitesh has also worked in Udaariyaan, Aankh Micholi, and several other shows. Fans are eagerly waiting to see what he does next!
