Hitesh Bharadwaj Shares His Audition Struggles and a Funny Story About Borrowing a Shirt
Hitesh Bharadwaj, who became popular for playing Rajat Thakkar in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, recently revealed an interesting story about his audition journey. Before joining Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, he had auditioned for another hit show.
Auditioning for Udne Ki Aasha
In a chat with Times Now, Hitesh shared that he auditioned for the role of Sachin in Udne Ki Aasha, a character now played by Kanwar Dhillon. He admitted that he really wanted the role and even praised Kanwar’s performance in the show.
Hitesh revealed a funny incident from his audition: “I loved this role so much that I even borrowed a shirt from an auto driver just to shoot my audition tape.” Despite his efforts, he didn’t get the part, and Kanwar was chosen instead.
Joking With Kanwar Dhillon
Even though he didn’t get the role, Hitesh shared that he often teases Kanwar for bagging the part. Fortunately, just two months after his audition for Udne Ki Aasha, he got the role of Rajat Thakkar in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.
Hitesh’s Journey in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin
In Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Hitesh starred opposite Bhavika Sharma, and their on-screen chemistry was loved by fans. His journey in the show ended after a time leap.
The show also featured Kaveri Priyam, Pallavi Pradhan, Sheezan Khan, and Manasi Salvi in key roles.
