She credited her co-contestant Avinash Mishra, who managed the food rations, saying that it unintentionally helped her lose 11 kg during the show. After leaving the house, she continued her fitness routine and lost another 2 kg, making it a total of 14 kg. Now, she is determined to stay in shape and maintain her fitness.

Shilpa Shirodkar’s fitness secrets

In an interview with Times of India TV, Shilpa shared that she follows a structured diet plan, including intermittent fasting and portion control. She has adopted the OMAD (One Meal A Day) diet, where she eats all her daily calories in just one meal.

Many celebrities, including Nagarjuna and Malaika Arora, also follow intermittent fasting to manage their weight and boost their energy. Shilpa has experienced great results from this method.

She is thrilled with the response to her transformation. Fans and friends keep complimenting her new look, and some even say she is “reverse-aging”! More than anything, she feels healthier, lighter, and more energetic.

Her family, especially her sister Namrata Shirodkar, has been very supportive. Namrata was shocked to see the huge change after months and told Shilpa how proud she was of her hard work.

Looking back at her career, Shilpa spoke about how she missed the chance to be in the iconic song Chaiyya Chaiyya because of her weight. At that time, it didn’t affect her much, but now she understands the importance of fitness in the industry.
