Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, March 16: Can Abhira Convince Armaan to Meet Vidya?
In tonight’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan forgets his and Abhira’s first meeting anniversary. Later, he makes it up by planning a sweet surprise for her.
Abhira Tries to Cheer Up Armaan
Abhira prepares a meal for Armaan, hoping it will ease his anger. While talking to Madhav, she excitedly shares that today marks her and Armaan’s first meeting anniversary. Madhav congratulates her but also taunts Kaveri for her past mistakes. He reminds her that she has always manipulated the family for her own benefit. Kaveri defends herself, saying she only wanted to keep the family united and that Abhira and Shivani are not right for the family.
Armaan Cares for Abhira but Stays Distant
Madhav blames Kaveri and Vidya for the troubles in Armaan’s life before leaving. Meanwhile, Abhira receives a mattress delivery and finds out Armaan ordered it for her. Armaan wakes up and helps her move it inside, explaining that he doesn’t want her to sleep on the floor with her injured foot.
Abhira asks him to speak to her nicely, but he remains distant. He is still upset about Abhira asking him to meet Vidya and walks away, leaving her disappointed.
Armaan Forgets Their Anniversary but Makes Up for It
Abhira feels sad that Armaan forgot their anniversary and leaves for work. Later, Madhav calls Armaan to wish him, reminding him about the special day. Realizing his mistake, Armaan regrets forgetting it.
Abhira visits Armaan’s workplace, and to her surprise, Armaan plans a romantic gesture for her. He displays pictures of their special moments, making Abhira emotional. Armaan expresses his love, and they celebrate their anniversary together.
Armaan Agrees to Meet Vidya
After their celebration, Armaan finally agrees to meet Vidya. Abhira immediately calls Vidya to inform her. Rohit sees Vidya and reminds her to understand Armaan’s feelings when they meet.
Meanwhile, Shivani gets hurt, and Armaan takes the opportunity to ask for her permission to meet Vidya. He is surprised when Shivani agrees to the meeting.
Kaveri’s Disapproval and Family Conflicts
On the other hand, Kaveri scolds Vidya for forgetting about the pooja and insists she should pray only for her son, Rohit. Vidya corrects her, saying that Armaan is also her son. Shivani reminds Armaan of how Vidya sacrificed her life to raise him, but Armaan expresses that he is lucky to have Shivani as his mother.
Kaveri refuses to accept Armaan as Vidya’s son and insists she should only perform pooja for Rohit. Rohit advises Vidya to stop listening to Kaveri and go ahead with meeting Armaan.
Later, Shivani tells Abhira that all mothers pray for their children during the pooja. She also hints that she will pray for Abhira’s pregnancy, leaving her thoughtful.
