Krushna Abhishek Wants to Play Different Roles, Not Just Comedy
Krushna Abhishek, known for his comedy, has been entertaining fans for over two decades. While he enjoys making people laugh, he feels stuck in comedy roles and wishes to explore different types of characters.
Krushna on Being Typecast
In a recent interview with ETimes TV, Krushna said that people only see him as a comedian in TV shows and films. He believes that comedy is a difficult genre, but he also has the ability to do more.
He shared,
“I don’t understand why filmmakers don’t offer me emotional, intense, or strong roles.”
Krushna Wants to Play a Visually Impaired Character
Praising Rajkummar Rao for his performance in Srikanth, Krushna said,
“I would love to play a visually impaired man who achieves great success.”
He also pointed out that big producers and directors know his work, yet they don’t offer him different roles.
Not Tired of Comedy, But Wants to Prove Himself
Krushna, who has played many female characters on screen, said he enjoys comedy and will never get tired of it. However, he also wants a chance to prove himself in other roles.
“I have done some good films in my career, but I want to show my talent in different kinds of roles. I hope I get those chances soon.”
Krushna’s Work in TV and Films
Krushna has acted in movies like Bol Bachchan, Entertainment, and Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3. He was also seen in the OTT show The Great Indian Kapil Show, alongside Kapil Sharma, Kiku Sharda, and Sunil Grover.
Currently, Krushna is a contestant on the reality show Laughter Chefs 2, where he is competing with his wife, Kashmera Shah.
