Usha Nadkarni gets eliminated from Celebrity MasterChef
As Celebrity MasterChef nears its grand finale, the competition is getting tougher. Just before the semi-final, a midweek eviction took place, and Usha Nadkarni was eliminated from the show. Before leaving, she expressed her hope that Faisal Shaikh would win the competition.
In this episode, Usha Nadkarni and Tejasswi Prakash were in the bottom two. Special guest Chef Kunal Kapur announced that Usha was eliminated. After hearing this, Rajiv Adatia and Faisal Shaikh became very emotional.
Faisal felt guilty, saying Usha had trusted his suggestion without hesitation, and now she was out of the competition. Usha reassured him that she had made her own choice to cook fish and trusted his advice because she sees him as a son. While saying this, she broke down in tears. Faisal comforted her and called her “MasterChef ki Maa.” Before leaving, she told him, “You have to win this show.”
Contestants and judges bid an emotional farewell
After their heartfelt conversation, judge Ranveer Brar also became emotional and told Usha, “I’ll miss you, Usha Tai.”
Rajiv Adatia praised Usha’s dedication, saying, “We all get tired, but Usha Tai, at 79 years old, is always on time and works so hard.” He called her an inspiration. As a tribute, everyone blew a whistle, and the contestants got emotional as they said their final goodbyes.
Who is still in the competition?
With Usha Nadkarni’s elimination, the remaining contestants are Faisal Shaikh, Tejasswi Prakash, Archana Gautam, Nikki Tamboli, and Gaurav Khanna.
Celebrity MasterChef, judged by Farah Khan, Ranveer Brar, and Vikas Khanna, airs Monday to Friday at 8 PM.
