Celebrity MasterChef Eviction: Archana Gautam Leaves Show Before Finale; Gets Emotional Talking About Her Father
Just before the grand finale of Celebrity MasterChef, Archana Gautam was eliminated from the show. She was in the bottom two with Faisal Shaikh, but Faisal got the golden apron, and Archana had to leave the competition. Her journey, which started from the very beginning of the season, came to an end right before the finale.
Archana’s Emotional Exit
In the latest episode, the top contestants—Archana Gautam, Faisal Shaikh, Rajiv Adatia, and Nikki Tamboli—competed in a crucial round. After tasting their dishes, Nikki became the third finalist, followed by Rajiv and Faisal. The first two finalists, Tejasswi Prakash and Gaurav Khanna, had already secured their spots earlier.
When Archana’s name was announced for elimination, Farah Khan got emotional. She walked up to Archana, hugged her, gave her a kiss on the forehead and hand, and called her the “life of the show.” Farah said the finale week would feel empty without her.
Archana, also emotional, said she may have made small mistakes, but she was proud of how far she had come.
Archana Speaks About Her Father
Archana shared a heartfelt story before leaving. She said:
“I came on this show for my father. This show has changed the way he thinks. For 20 years, my father faced taunts because he was a cook. My grandfather (nana) used to say hurtful things like, ‘My son-in-law is just a cook.’
Now when I ask my dad, ‘Papa, are you okay with it?’
He proudly replies, ‘I was a cook, and I still am.'”
This emotional moment touched everyone on set. Judge Ranveer Brar praised her and her father, asking her to look into the camera and feel proud.
Vikas Khanna, another judge, added:
“In 15 years of MasterChef, I have never laughed as much as I have this season—because of you!”
Archana Bids Goodbye
Archana got teary-eyed but smiled through her exit. She said goodbye to the judges and her fellow contestants, thanking everyone for the support.

Celebrity MasterChef airs Monday to Friday at 8 PM on Sony TV. As the finale approaches, fans are now excited to see which one of the top 5 finalists will take home the winner’s trophy.
