Kaun Banega Crorepati is coming back with a brand-new season! Season 16 of the popular quiz show ended recently on March 11, and now, just 24 days later, the makers have officially announced Season 17.
On April 4, Sony TV shared the promo of KBC 17 on their official Instagram page, featuring none other than Amitabh Bachchan. With this fun and creative promo, they also revealed that registrations for the new season will begin on April 14.

In the video, Amitabh Bachchan is shown playing a patient with a stomach ache. A doctor visits to check on him and jokes that Big B is hiding something, which is causing his pain. That’s when Amitabh finally reveals the truth — Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 is starting, and registrations begin on April 14!
The caption of the promo says:
“Taiyyar ho jaiye 14th April se hot seat par aane ke liye. KBC ke registration aur humare AB ke sawaal shuru hone hi wale hain.”
(Translation: Get ready to sit on the hot seat from April 14. KBC registrations and our AB’s questions are about to begin.)
