Chahatt Khanna Opens Up About Struggles in the Industry After Her Divorces: ‘People Didn’t Want to Work With Me’
TV actress Chahatt Khanna, known for her strong acting skills, recently spoke about her difficult journey in the industry after going through two divorces. She shared how her personal life impacted her career and how people in the industry treated her differently because of it.
💔 Chahatt on Facing Rejection After Divorce
In an interview with Hauterrfly, Chahatt revealed that many people refused to work with her after her divorces. She said,
“Many people didn’t want to work with me. When your name is in a bad light, people avoid you.”
She explained that negative media coverage about her personal life made things worse. Even some top production houses chose not to work with her. Managers also openly told her they were hesitant because her private issues were in the news.

Chahatt also shared how tough her second divorce was, especially as a mother. She said one of her daughters lives with her, while the other stays with her ex-husband, Farhan Mirza. Despite everything, they still talk respectfully for the sake of their kids.

As a public figure, Chahatt said she often avoided social events because she was afraid of being judged. She also spoke about how people wrongly assumed she depended on money from her exes.
“I never took alimony from either of my husbands,” she said.
Still, people have called her a gold digger, which she finds unfair.

Chahatt Khanna married Bharat Narsinghani in 2006 after dating for six years, but the marriage ended in just four months due to serious abuse allegations. Later in 2013, she married Farhan Mirza, son of writer Shahrukh Mirza, but filed for divorce in 2018 citing sexual and mental harassment. They have two children.
