Is Stevie Wonder Ignoring Justin Bieber? Singer Jokes Amid Hailey Divorce Rumors
Justin Bieber recently made a funny post on social media, and it got people talking—especially because it involved music legend Stevie Wonder.
In a black-and-white screenshot shared on his Instagram Story, Justin showed himself on a FaceTime call with Stevie Wonder. Justin, wearing a backward cap and smiling big, jokingly wrote on the photo:
“This fool never sees my facetimessss.”
It was clearly meant as a joke, since Stevie Wonder is blind. But there’s no sign that Stevie was offended. The two artists have known each other for years and seem to share a friendly bond. Stevie hasn’t replied to the post, and it seems like he took the joke in good humor.
To show his respect, Justin also added Stevie Wonder’s famous song “Overjoyed” to the story. It may have been his way of making sure Stevie could hear the message, even if he couldn’t see the picture.
In case you didn’t know, Justin and Stevie have performed together in the past. Their first time sharing the stage was in 2011 at a benefit concert, and they teamed up again on The X Factor stage later on.
Also, Justin’s not the only one who’s made playful comments about Stevie. Former NBA player Carmelo Anthony once joked that Stevie Wonder told him he enjoys watching him play basketball.
This lighthearted post came during a time when rumors are going around about Justin and his wife Hailey Bieber possibly divorcing. However, those rumors seem to be false. According to reports, the couple is actually house-hunting outside the U.S., showing that they’re moving forward together—despite all the gossip.
