Mouni Roy recently hit the headlines, but this time it was for the wrong reasons. She was heavily trolled online by people who claimed that her “plastic surgery” had gone wrong, after noticing changes in her facial features. Many speculated that she wore bangs to hide a botched cosmetic procedure.

Reacting to the trolls, Mouni had a calm response. Speaking to the paparazzi, she brushed off the criticism and said she doesn’t pay attention to such comments. She added, “It’s nothing. I don’t even look at it. Let everyone do their job… If you hide behind a screen to troll others and find happiness in that, so be it.”

Mouni recently attended the trailer launch of her upcoming film The Bhootnii with Sanjay Dutt. Her appearance at the event became a topic of discussion, with many netizens commenting on her changed facial features, especially her forehead, and suggesting she might have had surgery.

A few days ago, Mouni posted a reel on Instagram, where she was dressed in a strapless black gown and looked stunning with her fresh bangs. But it was her altered facial appearance that got people talking, leading to further speculation about possible cosmetic procedures.

On the professional front, Mouni is best known for her roles in popular TV shows like Naagin and Naagin 2. She has also starred in successful shows such as Kasturi, Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev, Junoon – Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq, and Do Saheliyaan.

In Bollywood, she has acted in films like Gold, Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, and Blackout, showing her versatility across different genres.

Now, Mouni is excited about her upcoming movie, The Bhootnii, a horror action-comedy film, where she plays the character Mohabbat. The film, which also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari, Beyounick, and Aasif Khan, is set to release on April 18.
