Mugdha Chaphekar Takes a Break Amid Divorce News, Shares Positive Message

Actress Mugdha Chaphekar, famous for her role in Kumkum Bhagya, and her husband, actor Ravish Desai, have officially separated after nine years of marriage. Ravish shared the news on social media, and amidst this, Mugdha seems to be taking some time for herself. She recently posted uplifting photos on her social media with the hashtag #BeYourOwnSunshine.

Mugdha shared some beautiful pictures of herself in a yellow one-piece outfit, looking radiant and relaxed on a balcony. She smiled brightly, hinting at a peaceful break. In the caption, she wrote, “Sunshine Sunday? Always,” and added a sunflower emoji. She also used hashtags like #love, #beyourownsunshine, and #sunday to spread positivity.

On April 5, 2025, Ravish Desai announced the separation on Instagram, saying, “After deep reflection, Mugdha and I have chosen to go our separate ways and pursue individual journeys. Our bond, built on love, friendship, and respect, will always remain, despite this decision.” He also asked fans and the media to respect their privacy and not believe in any false rumors.

Ravish and Mugdha first met on the set of Satrangi Sasural in 2014, dated for two years, and got engaged in January 2016. They married in December 2016. After nine years of marriage, they have now decided to part ways.

On the professional front, Mugdha is well-known for playing the role of Prachi in the popular TV show Kumkum Bhagya.
