“This is not your serial” – Asim Riaz and Rubina Dilaik Get Into Heated Argument on Battleground
Asim Riaz and Rubina Dilaik recently had a tense argument on the fitness reality show Battleground. The clash happened after Asim lost his cool over one of his players, which led to a fiery exchange between the two captains.
In the latest promo shared by the makers, Asim’s team member Chandni was seen struggling with a task. Asim got frustrated and yelled at her, saying, “What is this? What’s your attitude? What have you achieved?”
Seeing this, Rubina stepped in and reminded Asim that his job is to guide, not to scold. She said he’s supposed to be a mentor, not a coach. But Asim snapped back, insisting, “I am a coach. You don’t know about my real life,” pointing directly at Rubina.
Rubina calmly tried to explain that Asim’s aggressive tone might be lowering Chandni’s confidence. This made Asim even more upset. He shouted, “Am I breaking her confidence, or is she making me feel invisible? Excuse me, this is not your serial!”
That last line angered Rubina, and she raised her voice, warning, “Asim, don’t go there!”
This isn’t the first time Rubina has faced a tense moment on the show. In an earlier episode, she had a disagreement with one of the contestants. Rubina said that an actor must first be a good listener. The contestant responded by saying she wasn’t listening either. Rubina quickly replied, “I don’t want to be disrespected. Don’t talk to me like that. I’m saying this for your own good.”
Abhishek Malhan, another team captain, also jumped in during that moment and said, “You have to understand that when a mentor speaks, it’s for your own benefit. You can’t talk back to a mentor like that.”
