Charlie Sheen’s Daughter Sami Shares Why They Haven’t Spoken in a Year: ‘This Explains It’
Sami Sheen, the daughter of Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards, has opened up about her rocky relationship with her dad. In a new TikTok video, the 21-year-old revealed that she and her father haven’t spoken in over a year.
In the video, Sami pokes fun at Charlie by lip-syncing a clip from one of his old interviews on ABC’s 20/20. During the 2011 interview, Charlie was asked if there were drugs in his house. He replied,
“If there are, you better find them and give them to me immediately,” and then joked,
“Ooh, drugs in the house, ah, we’re all gonna die.”
Sami captioned her video with,
“When people wonder why I haven’t spoken to my dad in a year but this is my dad.”
Earlier this week, Sami shared more details about their strained bond on Gia Giudice’s Casual Chaos podcast. She said they last texted about six months ago and things went downhill after one conversation turned into a big argument.
Sami also mentioned that Charlie didn’t reach out to her when she had nose surgery. She said he started sending her strange messages, which led her to block him—not only on her phone but also on email. Even after that, he found another way to contact her by using a new number during Christmas, but the messages were still “crazy.”
She finally told him,
“Do not contact me ever again because this is crazy.”
Charlie Sheen, now 59, shares two daughters—Sami (21) and Lola (19)—with ex-wife Denise Richards. The couple divorced in 2006. While things are tense between Sami and Charlie, he shares a close bond with Lola.
Lola recently spoke about her growing relationship with her dad on Denise Richards & Her Wild Things. She said their bond is stronger now, and they even go for pedicures together to spend time and connect.
Charlie also has another daughter named Cassandra with his high school girlfriend Paula Profit. In 2011, he adopted his youngest daughter, Eloise.
