Ben Affleck Praises Jennifer Lopez for Staying Close to His Kids After Their Divorce: Calls Her ‘Very Important’
Ben Affleck recently spoke warmly about his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, appreciating how she continues to have a great relationship with his children even after their divorce. Their blended family showed strong support at the premiere of The Accountant 2.
While speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Ben said that staying connected with Jennifer’s kids has been one of the biggest joys of his life. He also addressed the false rumors online, saying things are not as negative as they are made to look.
Ben has three teenage children with his former wife, Jennifer Garner. Jennifer Lopez is mom to 17-year-old twins with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. Despite their split, both families came together to support Ben at his movie premiere in Los Angeles.
Ben praised Jennifer for how she treats his kids, calling her a person of strong values and someone who has always shown kindness to his family.
“Jennifer Lopez is amazing. She’s great to my kids, and they still have a strong bond with her. I also love her kids—they’re wonderful,” he said.
He added,
“She’s a very important person, full of integrity. I care about her a lot and I’m thankful. I’m also really happy the kids are here with me tonight.”
Ben also shared how special it is to see the bond between all the children in their blended family.
“The relationships with these kids are the greatest joy of my life. They’re amazing kids, and I’m glad they wanted to come to this movie,” he said with a smile.
This family moment comes after Ben recently addressed their divorce publicly, ending the rumors about what went wrong. His latest comments show that even though they’ve gone their separate ways, both Ben and Jennifer are focused on their careers and being good parents.
