Will Shraddha Arya Return as Preeta in Kumkum Bhagya After Maternity Leave?

Shraddha Arya, best known for playing Preeta in Kundali Bhagya, is all set to return to television. The actress, who gave birth to twins in November 2024, is now ready to join the popular show Kumkum Bhagya. Fans are excited to see her back in the “Bhagya Universe.”

In a recent interview with Times Now, Shraddha confirmed the news. She said,
“A big yes! I missed being part of the Bhagya Universe.”
When asked for more details, she added,
“All I can say right now is — soon! Soon enough so that fans don’t miss a single episode of Kumkum Bhagya.”

Though Shraddha has confirmed her comeback, the details of her role in the show haven’t been revealed yet.

For those who may not know, Shraddha Arya became a household name through her lead role as Preeta in Kundali Bhagya. She took maternity leave in 2024, after which the show featured new leads — Paras Kalnawat, Adrija Roy, and Baseer Ali. Kundali Bhagya later went off-air on December 6, 2024. Shraddha’s on-screen chemistry with Dheeraj Dhoopar was a big hit among viewers.

In her personal life, Shraddha married Indian Navy officer Rahul Nagal in November 2021. The couple announced their pregnancy in September 2024 and welcomed twins — a boy and a girl — on November 19, 2024. On April 1, 2025, they revealed the names: their son is named Shaurya and their daughter Siya.
