Shivaji Satam, who became a household name as ACP Pradyuman, surprised everyone on April 17 by posting something mysterious on Instagram. He shared his iconic dialogue: “Kuch toh gadbad hai???” This small line was enough to make fans go wild with excitement. While there is still no official announcement, fans are now hoping and believing that he’s returning to CID.

Right after the post went up, fans filled the comments with love and joy. One fan wrote, “Wow, excited… I hope sir will come soon…” Another said, “We got the hint, sir… welcome back!” Others commented, “Can’t wait for your big return, boss!” The response was overwhelming.
Talking about his unexpected exit, Shivaji earlier told Bombay Times that he had “no idea” the makers were ending his character. He also shared that he’s planning to take a break in May 2025 to visit his son, who lives abroad. “Right now, I just want to take a break and enjoy life. I’ve worked hard for many years, and I think I deserve it,” he said.
The show depicted ACP Pradyuman’s character as dead following a bomb blast that CID’s enemy, Barboza, orchestrated. The CID team was heartbroken by his loss, and a new ACP was brought in.
Recently, Parth Samthaan joined the show as ACP Ayushman, marking his return to television after five years. The show also features popular actors like Dayanand Shetty, Aditya Srivastava, and others in important roles.
Whether Shivaji Satam is really returning or not is still not confirmed, but his one post has surely brought hope and excitement to every CID fan!
