Anupamaa actress Aneri Vajani asks fans to help her friend Vibhu K Raghave, who is fighting stage 4 colon cancer
Actor Vibhu K Raghave has been battling stage 4 colon cancer for a while now. During this difficult time, many of his close friends from the TV industry have come forward to support him. Several celebrities shared his condition on social media and requested fans to donate money to help with his treatment.
Aneri Vajani, who is known for her role in Anupamaa, also asked her followers to help Vibhu. On April 17, Aneri, along with actors Mohit Sehgal and Karanvir Bohra, posted about Vibhu’s health and urged people to contribute. Aneri shared old photos with Vibhu from when they worked together on the show Nisha Aur Uske Cousins.
In her post, Aneri explained that Vibhu is currently going through chemotherapy at Tata Hospital. She said they need funds for his treatment and also asked everyone to send prayers and positive wishes.
Her caption read:
“This post is for our beautiful friend Vibhu who’s been suffering from stage 4 colon cancer. He’s being treated at Tata Hospital and is under chemotherapy. We need funds for his treatment, and also a lot of prayers and good wishes. You’ve helped us in the past too, and we’re hoping for your support again. Please help us get him treated. You can donate any amount that’s comfortable. Thank you to everyone.”
Aneri also praised Vibhu’s courage and strength. She wrote:
“You are a miracle, Vibhu, and our fighter. I love you.”
Along with Aneri, actors Mohit Sehgal and Karanvir Bohra also shared stories on Instagram asking their followers to support Vibhu. Actor Sudhanshu Pandey also shared Aneri’s post to spread the word.
Who is Vibhu K Raghave?
Vibhu is a known face in the TV world. He became popular for playing Saurav in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins. He has also appeared in other shows like Suvreen Guggal – Topper of the Year (2012), and was seen in Rhythm and Pitchfork in 2016.
