Why did Mawra Hocane leave her house after 2 years? ‘Agar Tum Sath Ho’ actress shares emotional reason
Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane, who is currently seen in the drama Agar Tum Sath Ho, has left her home after two years. The reason? She’s now moving in with her husband, Ameer Gilani. Mawra shared an emotional note about this big change in her life.
Recently, Mawra tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend and actor Ameer Gilani. After their wedding, she decided to leave the house where she had lived alone on and off for nearly two years and shift to Ameer’s home. On Instagram, she shared a heartfelt post along with pictures of her old house.
In the post, Mawra showed glimpses of her cozy home — the living room, bedroom, bathroom, balcony, a big mirror, her dining area, and even her big teddy bear. Her house looked just like a dream home, full of warmth and personal touches.
While sharing the post, Mawra wrote an emotional message. She said,
“Every time I bought a home, my mama said, ‘Allah rehna naseeb karay.’ Today, I understand what that truly means. How long one gets to stay in a place is already written. I feel lucky that I got to live here for two years (on and off) before getting married.”

She went on to say that she had moved everything she needed to her new home. Though she loves her husband’s house, it was still a bittersweet moment to leave her own space.
“I absolutely love my husband’s home and was excited to move in, and the transition was smooth, thanks to my wonderful in-laws. But still, I needed some time to let the feelings sink in. It’s never easy to leave your own home and start calling a new place your home,” she shared.
Mawra also jokingly said that she’s now “hijacking” Ameer’s space and making it her own. She called this change a new chapter in her life, using the hashtag #mawraameerhogayi chapter 2.

Mawra and Ameer got married on February 5, 2025, in a beautiful ceremony attended by their close friends and family. Their wedding pictures looked like scenes from a fairy tale.

Mawra is currently acting in Agar Tum Sath Ho, where she stars alongside her husband Ameer Gilani and actor Zaviyar Ejaz.
