Abhinav Shukla slams Asim Riaz for rude comment about Rubina Dilaik on Battleground
The new web show Battleground has been making headlines, and not just for its content — but also for the drama. In a recent episode, Asim Riaz made a rude comment about Rubina Dilaik. He questioned why she was on the show, which is based on fitness, and claimed that she wasn’t fit enough to be part of it.
After this, cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, who is leading the show, asked Asim to apologize to Rubina. But Asim’s words didn’t sit well with Rubina’s husband, Abhinav Shukla.
Now, Abhinav has finally reacted. A fan commented on Abhinav’s vlog, thanking him for speaking up and asking, “What’s your reaction to Asim telling Rubina this show is for fitness and asking her, ‘What are you doing here?’”
Abhinav didn’t hold back. He indirectly took a dig at Asim’s body-building methods and attitude, saying:
“All jacked 💉 up muscle, no brain and a bad attitude are not a sign of fitness.”
This comment quickly caught fans’ attention.

Now, according to reports, Asim might have been removed from the show after a recent fight with Abhishek Malhan. Sources say their small argument turned into a big fight, and when Rubina tried to step in, Asim allegedly insulted her again. Because of this, he was reportedly asked to leave the show. However, there has been no official statement confirming this yet.
The show Battleground features Rubina Dilaik, Asim Riaz, Rajat Dalal, and Abhishek Malhan as team leaders, with Shikhar Dhawan as the main guide. It started streaming on April 5 on Amazon MX Player and is already in the news for all the drama between these contestants.
