A sweet moment from the sets of the upcoming movie Hridayapoorvam has caught everyone’s attention! Actress Malavika Mohanan recently shared a lovely photo with superstar Mohanlal, and fans can’t get enough of how cute he looks in it.
Mohanlal and Malavika are currently filming in Pune for Hridayapoorvam. Sharing a cheerful update from the set, Malavika posted a photo with Mohanlal and wrote,
“Sending all of you love from team Hridayapoorvam. It’s been a while, so here’s a big ‘hi’ and a big hug to everyone! We’ve been shooting in Pune for a couple of weeks. It’s been super hectic, but also a lot of fun.”
She also posted an animated version of the same photo, and jokingly mentioned that she was unsure about joining the trend but did it anyway.

Earlier, Malavika had made headlines when someone on social media questioned her working alongside Mohanlal due to the age gap between them — he is 33 years older than her. The actress replied strongly,
“Who told you it’s a love interest? Stop judging people and a film with your half-baked, baseless assumptions.”
About the Film Hridayapoorvam
The movie marks a special reunion between Mohanlal and director Sathyan Anthikad after many years. Although the story hasn’t been revealed yet, it’s expected to be a heartwarming drama — similar to the director’s previous beloved works.

Mohanlal was last seen in the hit movie L2: Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. It was the sequel to Lucifer (2019) and continued the intense storyline, with the main character facing a new threat connected to an old enemy. The movie is part of a planned trilogy, with upcoming parts expected to show the younger days of the character Abr’aam Khureshi.
