Did Indraneil Sengupta respond to ex-wife Barkha Bisht’s claim about not co-parenting their daughter?

Actor Indraneil Sengupta and his ex-wife Barkha Bisht made headlines recently after talking about their separation. The couple ended their 15-year marriage in 2022. They have a 13-year-old daughter named Meira.

In a recent interview, Barkha claimed that Indraneil is no longer involved in their daughter’s life. She said Meira lives with her and that Indraneil has completely disappeared from their daughter’s world. But now, Indraneil seems to have indirectly responded to those claims.

He posted a picture with Meira on Instagram, showing the two of them smiling and wearing matching blue outfits. In the caption, he wrote, “Unplanned twinning.” This post has led many to believe that he’s denying Barkha’s claims.

During her interview with Siddharth Kannan, Barkha was asked about co-parenting. She said:

“Unfortunately, he has disappeared from Meira’s life. I think Meira is also okay with it.”

She added that some people might think she’s stopping Meira from meeting her father, but that’s not true.

In the same chat, Barkha opened up about what went wrong in their marriage. She said they had different parenting styles. Barkha described herself as a strict mother, while Indraneil felt that she made all the decisions alone. She said many small problems added up over time, which eventually led to the breakdown of their marriage. Barkha even accused Indraneil of cheating on her.

A look back at their relationship:

Indraneil and Barkha first met on the sets of the TV show Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha, Ek Shyaam in 2006. Their on-screen chemistry turned into a real-life relationship. After dating for two years, they got married in 2008.

They were together for 15 years before getting divorced in 2022. At that time, their daughter Meira was 9 years old. She was born in October 2011.
