The fight between Rubina Dilaik and Asim Riaz on the reality show Battleground has taken a serious turn. After their argument, Rubina’s husband, actor Abhinav Shukla, has received death threats from a person claiming to be a member of the Bishnoi gang — the same gang that earlier targeted actor Salman Khan.

What happened?

Rubina and Asim, both judges on Battleground, recently had a major argument on the show. Reports say Asim lost his cool and made disrespectful comments about Rubina. Soon after the incident, there were rumors that Asim had been asked to leave the show.

Abhinav, showing support for his wife, spoke out against Asim’s behavior. However, things got worse when Abhinav received a shocking death threat online.

Abhinav’s post about the threat

Abhinav took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared a screen recording of the threat message. In it, someone claiming to be from the Bishnoi gang abused Abhinav and Rubina and threatened to kill him. The person even said they would fire bullets at Abhinav’s house, like they did at Salman Khan’s.

Abhinav immediately tagged the Chandigarh Police and asked the public to help identify the person. He wrote:

“DEATH THREATS to my family! Person seems to be from Chandigarh/Mohali. Please act firmly & promptly. If anyone recognizes him, please report to the police.”

Rubina’s strong reaction

Rubina Dilaik, clearly angry and upset, shared the threat too. She wrote a powerful message in response:

“My silence is not my weakness. Don’t test my patience.”

Rubina shows more hate comments

Rubina also posted screenshots of nasty comments from Asim Riaz’s fans on her and Abhinav’s Instagram. Some of the comments included abuses and more threats. By sharing these, Rubina showed how her family is being targeted online just because of the fight on the show.

Background of the controversy

Rubina and Asim had many clashes on Battleground while supporting their team members. But in their most recent argument, Asim reportedly insulted Rubina and questioned whether she deserved to be a judge on the show. He also had a major fight with co-judge Abhishek Malhan. After this, there were reports that Asim was removed from the show.

However, the makers of Battleground have not released any official statement yet about Asim’s status on the show.
