Kota Factory Season 4: Mayur More Talks About the Upcoming Season and How He Related to His Character’s Struggles

The popular show Kota Factory has connected deeply with young viewers over the years. The relatable story and characters have made it a fan favorite. After Season 3 premiered on Netflix on June 20 last year, fans have been eagerly waiting for updates on Season 4.

Actor Mayur More, who plays the lead role of Vaibhav Pandey, recently shared some news about the upcoming season. He also opened up about how he connected with his character’s emotional journey in the last season.

In a chat with OTT Play, Mayur confirmed that Kota Factory Season 4 is definitely happening. However, he added, “Yes, the season is confirmed, but I don’t know when it will be released. You’ll have to ask the makers about that.”

He also talked about how Season 3 ended on a heavy note. Many viewers felt heartbroken over Vaibhav’s situation, and Mayur admitted that he understood those feelings well. He said he was going through a tough time personally and professionally while filming Season 3.

“That was exactly how I was feeling in life at the time — like a failure,” Mayur shared. “There were many things going on in my life, and I could really relate to what Vaibhav was going through and how people responded to him.”

To remind fans, in Season 3, Vaibhav fails to qualify for the JEE Advanced exam, unlike his friends. Just when he feels like giving up, he meets Jeetu Bhaiya (played by Jitendra Kumar), who inspires him to continue his journey. Vaibhav then joins the repeaters batch at Aimers.

Meanwhile, Jeetu Bhaiya makes a big life decision too — he leaves Kota to accept a job offer from the Ministry of Education in Rajasthan.

While there’s no official release date yet, reports suggest that Kota Factory Season 4 may premiere in early 2026.
