Sebastian Stan, known for his role as Carter Baizen on the popular 2000s show Gossip Girl, recently opened up about his relationship with his former co-stars. He shared who he’s still in touch with and where things stand with Blake Lively, especially as she faces legal issues related to her upcoming film It Ends With Us.

Sebastian Reflects on His Gossip Girl Days

In Gossip Girl, Stan acted alongside big names like Blake Lively (Serena), Leighton Meester (Blair), Chace Crawford (Nate), Penn Badgley (Dan), and Ed Westwick (Chuck). Besides his role in the earlier seasons, Sebastian also briefly dated Leighton Meester. In past interviews, he hinted that she might have been his first love.

While promoting Marvel’s Thunderbolts, Stan spoke with E! News about his Gossip Girl experience. When asked which of his former castmates he still talks to, he responded honestly.

Who Is He Still Friends With?

“I talk to Chace a lot,” Stan said. “I knew him before Gossip Girl, so we stayed close.” He also mentioned meeting Penn Badgley for a podcast, but said Chace is the only one he’s really stayed in touch with.

He didn’t mention Blake Lively or Leighton Meester, suggesting they no longer speak. His comment hinted that their friendships didn’t continue after the show ended.

Blake Lively Faces Legal Troubles

Meanwhile, Blake Lively has been in the spotlight for other reasons. She’s currently involved in a legal battle with her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni. Even with the drama, she’s been trying to stay calm and continues to appear at public events with her husband, Ryan Reynolds.

At the recent premiere of her new film Another Simple Favor, Blake wore a stunning Cinderella-blue gown that got a lot of attention. But not all of it was positive — some people online criticized her appearance, pointing out visible makeup marks on her dress. This led to online trolling, with many fans taking Baldoni’s side in the feud.
