“Stay Away from Alcohol”: Harshvardhan Rane Shares Heartfelt Advice with Babil Khan After Emotional Video
Actor Harshvardhan Rane has shared some emotional and sincere advice for Babil Khan after a video of the young actor crying went viral on social media. In the video, Babil—son of the late legendary actor Irrfan Khan—opened up about his struggles in the film industry. Soon after, Rane posted a message encouraging him to stay strong and stay away from negative influences like alcohol and after-parties.

Babil’s emotional video, which was later deleted, caught a lot of attention online. In the clip, he expressed his feelings about the film industry, calling it “fake” and “messed up,” while also mentioning a few names who he feels are genuine, like Arijit Singh, Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, and others.

Following the viral video, Harshvardhan Rane took to his Instagram Stories and wrote a heartfelt note for Babil. Known for movies like Sanam Teri Kasam, Haseen Dillruba, and Paltan, Rane encouraged Babil to stay true to his talent and avoid unhealthy influences.
In his message, Rane wrote:
“Dear Babil Khan, you’re blessed with God-level talent in acting. We need you to carry forward your father’s legacy. Please give your best to the craft, but also ‘stay away from events and after-parties’ to avoid people who might bring negativity.”
He continued:
“I’m not from a film family, but I’ve learned that people only treat you badly if you let them. Stand your ground. Also, please stay away from alcohol and all such things. You’ll need strength to keep going. Take care of yourself.”

Babil’s emotional video, posted on April 4, 2025, showed him visibly upset as he talked about how fake the industry feels to him. Though the clip was later deleted, it sparked many conversations online about mental health and the pressures of showbiz.

“Bollywood is the most fake industry I’ve ever been a part of. But there are still some people who want it to be better. I have so much more to show you… so much more to give.”
