Sheezan Khan Supports Virat Kohli’s Statement About Instagram Glitch on Avneet Kaur’s Post
Indian cricketer Virat Kohli was in the news on May 2—not for cricket, but for something unexpected. A few fan pages of actress Avneet Kaur shared photos that showed Virat had liked one of her posts. This quickly went viral, and fans started talking about it online.
To clear the air, Virat released a statement explaining that it was not intentional. He said it was likely a glitch in the Instagram algorithm. Now, TV actor Sheezan Khan has stepped forward with proof that supports Virat’s explanation.
Sheezan took to his Instagram story to share a similar experience. He posted a screenshot showing that Instagram said he was following an account he had never followed. Surprised, he wrote, “When did that happen? Instagram is seriously glitching!!”

Later, one of Sheezan’s followers also shared a message about facing the same kind of glitch. Sheezan reposted it and tagged Virat Kohli in the story, saying, “Nation owes you an apology.”
This adds weight to Virat’s earlier statement. After the news broke, Virat explained, “While clearing my feed, it seems the algorithm mistakenly registered an interaction. There was absolutely no intent behind it. I ask everyone not to make assumptions. Thanks for your understanding.”
Virat’s statement was meant to stop the unnecessary gossip and rumors. Sheezan’s post now gives more support to what he said.
Talking about Sheezan Khan, he is a popular TV actor known for shows like Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul, Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.
