Battleground Winners Announced: Abhishek Malhan’s Team Takes the Trophy!
The popular web show Battleground has finally come to an end after running for nearly four weeks. And now, the winning team has been revealed! Keep reading to find out who took home the trophy.
The show featured four teams:
- Haryana Bulls led by Rajat Dalal
- Mumbai Strikers led by Rubina Dilaik
- Delhi Dominators led by Abhishek Malhan
- UP Dabangg led by Neeraj Goyat
In the grand finale, Abhishek Malhan’s team – Delhi Dominators – won the title. The winning members were Rounak Gulia and Nisha Mishra.
Battleground was based on fitness and aired for four weeks. The final episode was released on May 10, 2025. After the win, Abhishek Malhan shared a photo with the winners and the trophy, expressing how proud he was of them.
He also posted pictures with Rubina Dilaik, Shikhar Dhawan, Kashish Kapoor, and other teammates. In his post, he wrote,
“Congratulations to these two super girls @rounak_wrestler and @nisha_optimist who made sure Delhi Dominators really dominated Battleground Season 1. This time, we got two trophies together. Let’s go, Panda Gang!”

From the day it began, Battleground was trending everywhere. It grabbed a lot of attention because of the tough competitions, strong team clashes, and unexpected twists.
One major controversy happened when Asim Riaz, former gang leader of UP Dabangg, was reportedly removed from the show. Asim had questioned Rubina Dilaik’s presence on the show, saying she wasn’t fit for a fitness competition.
In response, cricketer Shikhar Dhawan asked Asim to apologize. Following this, Asim was either asked to leave or chose to walk out, depending on different reports.
Battleground started streaming on Amazon MX Player on April 5, and its final episode aired on May 10, 2025.
