Aamir Khan is all set to return to the big screen with his much-awaited film Sitaare Zameen Par. After taking a break from acting, Aamir is back with a movie that combines laughter, emotions, and drama—his signature style.

Release Date Confirmed

Pinkvilla has exclusively learned that the film will hit theatres on June 20, 2025. A source shared that Aamir had earlier considered a May 30 release but decided on June 20 for a better box office run without much competition. “He’s aiming for a clear two-week run, which June 20 offers,” said the source.

Trailer Launch Plan

The trailer for Sitaare Zameen Par will be released in the next couple of weeks. The plan is to show it with the prints of Raid 2, which releases on May 1, 2025. “The trailer is ready. Aamir wants to use the popularity of Raid 2 to promote his film directly to cinema audiences,” the source explained. However, as always with Aamir, there might be some last-minute changes.

Marketing & Expectations

According to sources, the film’s editing is complete, and Aamir is now focusing on marketing. He is confident that Sitaare Zameen Par has strong content that will connect with the audience, just like his earlier hit Taare Zameen Par.
