Abdu Rozik, who gained fame from Bigg Boss 16, recently announced that he has called off his wedding with his fiancée, Amira. Just five months after getting engaged, the Tajikistani singer shared the reason for this difficult decision.
In an interview with E Times, Abdu explained that as their relationship grew, he and Amira faced cultural differences that made marriage seem like the wrong step for them. He said that he’s a determined person and needs a partner who is mentally strong and resilient. For Abdu, mutual understanding and effort are important in a relationship.
Despite the breakup, Abdu remains hopeful about finding love again in the future. He thanked his supporters for standing by him during this time, saying, “I trust that love will find me again when the time is right.”
For those unfamiliar, Abdu got engaged to Amira, an Emirati woman, in April 2024. He shared pictures from their engagement, proudly showing a heart-shaped diamond ring. The engagement was a small, private ceremony held in Majlis Sharjah.
The couple had planned to marry on July 7, and Abdu had expressed his excitement about finding someone who loved and respected him, despite the challenges he faced. However, due to the differences they encountered, the wedding was called off.
