“I Will Kill…” Says Abhinav Shukla After Death Threats from Bishnoi Gang; Here’s Why He Said It
In a recent podcast, Abhinav Shukla opened up about how he can be “harmful” if needed. He also spoke about his experience on Bigg Boss 14 and explained why he stayed calm during the show.
Trigger Warning: This article mentions death threats.
Actor Abhinav Shukla has been in the news recently because of his fight with Asim Riaz. It all started after Asim and Rubina Dilaik had a clash on Battleground. Abhinav supported his wife Rubina, and soon after, he received death threats from someone claiming to be a Bishnoi gang member. Abhinav even shared a screenshot of the threat online.
Now, in a new interview, Abhinav admitted that he is capable of “harming” someone if it comes to protecting his family.
Talking to Shardul Pandit, Abhinav shared that he has two daughters and believes in old-school thinking. He said he believes a man should be capable of doing harm—not that he should harm anyone, but that he should be ready if needed to protect his family.
Abhinav said, “I’m an old-school man. A man should be capable of harm. He should not harm anyone unnecessarily, but to protect his family, he must be ready to.”
Shardul then said that hurting someone didn’t match Abhinav’s calm and patient image. But Abhinav made a strong statement: “If I have to kill a guy to save my family, I will do it with my bare hands. I won’t think twice. I will just do it. I’m capable of being harmful but I don’t harm people without reason.”
When asked if he had ever harmed anyone, Abhinav said he had been in fights during his school days.
Shardul then asked him why he didn’t react with anger during Bigg Boss 14, even when people spoke badly about him. Abhinav explained that the other contestants were under “performance pressure” and said things just for the sake of the show. He decided not to let it get to him.
Abhinav shared that the other housemates expected him to lose his temper, but he stayed calm. He said being on Bigg Boss 14 was like a real-life test for him.
When asked if the negative comments ever affected him, he said they didn’t—because he understood that the contestants were trying to survive on the show. But he added that if those comments had come after the show ended, it might have hurt him.
Talking about the death threats, Abhinav had earlier posted a screen recording of a threatening message. In the message, an Instagram user, claiming to be a Bishnoi gang member, used bad language against Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav. The person also threatened to shoot at Abhinav’s house, just like what happened at Salman Khan’s house.
