CID: Fans Celebrate as ACP Pradyuman (Shivaji Satam) Might Return After Bomb Blast Exit
CID fans are super excited after news came out that ACP Pradyuman, played by Shivaji Satam, might return to the show. The internet, especially X (formerly Twitter), is buzzing with joy as people can’t wait to see their favorite character back.
After ACP Pradyuman’s character was shown dying in a bomb blast, fans were heartbroken. The makers then brought in Parth Samthaan as a new officer named ACP Anushman, but fans kept asking for the return of the original ACP.
Now, according to a report by TellyChakkar, the makers of CID 2 are planning a big comeback for Shivaji Satam. The team has already started working on a grand re-entry sequence. Viewers were unhappy when ACP Pradyuman’s character left the show because he is considered the heart and soul of CID.
As soon as the news went viral, fans flooded social media with excitement.
One fan wrote,
“We were right. Our belief and trust were right. Shivaji Satam sir is coming back! #CID2 #CID”
Another added,
“Finally! Our Shivaji Satam sir is coming back… can’t wait for his grand return. The boss is back!”
Some fans even said that maybe this was all part of a hype strategy. One user commented,
“Even the makers knew removing ACP Pradyuman was like digging their own grave. The legend is returning soon!”
Meanwhile, Parth Samthaan will also be seen in CID 2 as ACP Anushman. Interestingly, he first refused the role. In an interview with Hindustan Times, he said it felt strange to imagine senior actors like Dayanand Shetty calling him ‘sir’ on screen.
Parth also said that after five years away from TV, he wanted a fresh challenge.
“I was getting many romantic roles, but they all felt the same. This show was something different, so I said yes,” he shared.
CID made its big comeback on December 21, 2024, with familiar faces like Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, and Aditya Srivastava returning to entertain fans once again.
