Adnan Khan Talks About His Role in Mannat and Working With Ayesha Singh
Adnan Khan, who recently starred in Pracchand Ashok, is all set to play Vikrant in the upcoming drama Mannat. This marks his first time teaming up with actress Ayesha Singh. In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, Adnan shared insights about his character, his bond with Ayesha, and how Vikrant is different from him.
Why Adnan Said Yes to Mannat
Adnan revealed that the audition itself convinced him to take the role. He said, “I really enjoyed the audition process. I liked that Vikrant is a sorted guy. He doesn’t have big issues, traumas, or complications.”
His Bond With Ayesha Singh
When asked if he and Ayesha took time to connect, Adnan explained, “It’s like meeting any new co-star—it takes some time. Honestly, we were focused more on understanding our characters than on getting to know each other. Ayesha is a disciplined actress, and our friendship is growing naturally as we work together.”
How Adnan Differs From Vikrant
Talking about how he’s different from his character, Adnan said, “I think I have more of today’s issues. Vikrant grew up in an environment where he hasn’t let himself be affected by life’s incidents the way I might have.”
About the Show Mannat
The story follows Mannat, a young chef with big dreams of working in a world-class restaurant. Aishwarya abandoned Mannat 20 years ago, and the show promises emotional twists and high-stakes drama.
Mannat will air on Colors TV starting January 6, Monday to Friday at 10 PM.
