Akshay Kumar Shares How He Spends His Weekend; Shark Tank’s Ghazal Alagh Highlights Importance of Taking Time Off
Bollywood star Akshay Kumar and Shark Tank India’s Ghazal Alagh recently discussed how they maintain a balanced lifestyle and why taking breaks is essential for health and happiness.
Balancing Work and Life
Ghazal Alagh, known as one of the ‘sharks’ on Shark Tank India, posted a video on Instagram with Akshay Kumar, where they talked about their personal routines for staying healthy. In the video, Akshay asked Ghazal if she works all the time. Ghazal replied, “I don’t work 24 hours a day. I used to work constantly and sleep just 4 hours a night in the first two years of my career, but I soon realized that wasn’t sustainable because it affected my health.”
Ghazal continued, “If you’re not healthy, you can’t work effectively or take care of your family. So, I decided to set a better balance. Initially, we took Sundays off, and now we rest on both Saturdays and Sundays.”
Akshay’s Weekend Routine
Akshay then shared his own weekend routine, saying, “I work half-day on Saturday and take Sunday off.” When Ghazal asked him what he does during his time off, Akshay said, “I play volleyball, spend time with the kids, play Ludo, or go rock climbing and swimming.” He added that these activities make him “very happy” and that he looks forward to his Sundays.
Ghazal pointed out that it’s important to work hard during the week to fully enjoy time off with family on weekends. In her caption, she reminded viewers, “While chasing dreams, let’s remember why we’re working hard and what really matters. Building a business is a marathon, not a sprint. Staying healthy and giving our best to our families and teams should come first.”
