In the past few years, Akshay Kumar’s films haven’t done very well. There have been problems with the actor’s pictures at the box office, and some of them have even done very badly. Today, Akshay talked about how disappointed he was with the box office performance of his last couple of films, saying it’s silly that people are giving up on him because of a few bad films. The star said that the words didn’t bother him too much and that he would keep working hard like he has for the past 30 years. Unfortunately, some of his most recent films, like Sarfira and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, did not do well at the box office.

I don’t think too much about it, but whatever happens, it’s for the best. Four or five of my movies haven’t worked, and I get a lot of texts saying “sorry yaar, fikar mat kar.” I am no longer useless! It feels like people are sending me death notices, like how people send regrets through texts. One reporter even wrote, “You’ll be lower back.” I called him up and asked, “Why are you writing this?” What does the word “returned” mean? “Where have I been for so long?” the star asked at the premiere of the trailer for his new movie Khel Khel Mein.The 56-year-old star said that his goal is to keep running hard. “I’m right here, and I’ll keep running.” No matter what people say, I’ll keep working. I get up in the morning, work out, and go to work. When I get home, I spend all the money I earned on myself. I’ll never be able to get anything from anyone. “I’ll keep working until they shoot me down,” he said.
On the other hand, his next movie, Khel Khel Mein, is set to hit theatres on August 15, 2024. To name a few, the movie stars Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal. The Hindi films Vedaa, starring John Abraham, and Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, are both set to open at the same time as Khel Khel Mein.
