When Alia Bhatt Was Asked About Her ‘Dark Side’—Her Innocent Answer Stole Our Hearts
Alia Bhatt is one of Bollywood’s most loved and talented actresses. While she always shines on screen, her charm and honesty during interviews are just as enjoyable. One such interview, where Alia was asked about her “dark side,” is still fresh in our minds—and her sweet, thoughtful reply made it unforgettable.
Alia’s Heartfelt Answer About Her “Dark Side”
In an old interview with Filmfare, Alia talked about her family’s WhatsApp group called “The Bhatt Camp.” She mentioned that her family regularly shares inspirational quotes in the group. When the interviewer asked her if she had a dark side, Alia replied simply and truthfully:
“Everybody has it.”
But what she said next really stayed with us:
“If there’s no darkness, how you gonna appreciate the light?”
Her answer impressed everyone, including the host, who was curious to know if the quote was from her filmmaker father, Mahesh Bhatt. But Alia smiled and said it was her own contribution to the group. She even admitted, in her adorable way, that she found the quote on Google before sharing it with her family.
Alia at Cannes 2025
Recently, Alia made headlines with her debut at the Cannes Film Festival. Fans and fashion experts were full of praise for her stunning appearance. On May 28, Alia shared pictures from Cannes on her Instagram, where she hinted at returning next year with the caption:
“cannes-dids okay bye, see you next year,” signed off by Raha’s mom.
