Allu Arjun Shares Exciting Update on His Movie with Atlee at WAVES 2025: Calls It ‘Very International’
Actor Allu Arjun recently shared some big news about his upcoming movie with popular director Atlee, best known for Jawan. The film, currently titled AA22xA6, is already getting a lot of attention online.
At the WAVES Summit 2025, Allu Arjun took part in a panel discussion where he spoke about the project and gave fans a sneak peek into what to expect.
Allu Arjun Talks About His First Film with Atlee
Allu Arjun said he was really impressed by the idea Atlee pitched to him. He liked how ambitious and creative Atlee was, and felt that they both had similar ways of thinking.
The actor shared that the movie will be a visually stunning experience for Indian viewers. While the film will look very “international” in its presentation, it will stay true to Indian emotions and culture.
“It’s my 22nd film, and I’m working with Atlee gaaru, who directed Jawan and other big hits. I really liked the concept he shared and his vision. We’re like-minded in many ways. We want to bring something visually new to Indian cinema — something big and global, but full of Indian feelings,” Allu Arjun said.
Arjun Reflects on His Roots and Family Legacy
During the event, Allu Arjun also spoke about his background and how his family influenced his journey. He said he feels lucky to be part of a well-known film family, which keeps him grounded.
He mentioned his grandfather Allu Ramalingaiah, a legendary actor in South Indian cinema, and his father Allu Aravind, a successful producer who has made around 70 films. Arjun also spoke fondly of his uncle Chiranjeevi, calling him one of his biggest inspirations.
Allu Arjun shared that growing up around such icons made him value humility and teamwork. He said he doesn’t consider himself fully self-made, and gives credit to his family, directors, technicians, and fans for his success.
