Arjit Taneja Becomes a Cop in Jhanak After 20-Year Leap; Sriti Jha, Aly Goni, and Others Excited to See the New Look
The popular TV show Jhanak has taken a big twist with a 20-year leap in the story. After this leap, Arjit Taneja and Riya Sharma have joined as the new lead actors. Fans and celebrities are excited to see Arjit in his new role.
The show, which originally starred Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja, became a hit with viewers thanks to its emotional and dramatic storyline. But now, after the leap, Hiba and Krushal have left the show, and Arjit and Riya are stepping in to take the story forward.
Star Plus recently shared a new promo showing the fresh storyline. In it, Riya Sharma plays the new Jhanak, a simple girl from a village. Arjit Taneja plays a police officer. The promo shows a scene where Jhanak is walking with her bicycle and is accidentally hit by a police officer’s bike — who turns out to be Arjit’s character. He offers her money to make up for the damage, but Jhanak refuses and says she will complain to the police, not realizing he is one!
The caption for the promo said:
“20 years later, a new chapter begins and a new Jhanak is here. Will she write a new story for her future? Watch from this Monday at 10:30 PM only on Star Plus, and anytime on JioCinema.”
After the promo went live, many celebrities rushed to the comment section to cheer for Arjit and Riya. They showed excitement for the fresh on-screen pair.
