Aly Goni Supports Samay Raina Amid Ranveer Allahabadia Controversy
Stand-up comedian Samay Raina recently found himself in the middle of controversy over his show, India’s Got Latent. Two days after the issue sparked debate, he announced that he had deleted all episodes from YouTube. This move led to mixed reactions, and soon after, actor Aly Goni shared his thoughts on the matter.
Aly Goni Feels Samay Raina Shouldn’t Have Deleted All Episodes
Taking to social media, Aly Goni voiced his disappointment, saying,
“They forced Samay to delete all the episodes of Latent… not cool. That one episode should have been deleted, that’s it. He has worked hard to make this show successful. A few days back, everyone was praising him, and now suddenly, everyone is against him. Lol, kya yaar.”
Aly believes that only the episode featuring Ranveer Allahbadia should have been removed, instead of taking down the entire show.
More Celebrities React to the Controversy
India’s Got Latent featured many well-known personalities as jury members, including Raftaar, Badshah, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Rakhi Sawant, Tony Kakkar, Tanmay Bhat, Bharti Singh, and Haarsh Limbachiyaa.
The controversy surrounding the show has become a major talking point, dividing opinions. While some fans continue to support Ranveer Allahbadia, others have criticized his remarks, sparking discussions on social media about the responsibilities of influencers and public figures.
Besides Aly Goni, many other TV stars, including Nakuul Mehta, Chhavi Mittal, Rakhi Sawant, Abhinav Shukla, and Uorfi Javed, have also reacted. While some criticized the content creators, others believe the public outrage and legal involvement might be unnecessary.
Legal Action Taken Against Ranveer Allahbadia and Others
On February 10, a complaint was filed against Ranveer Allahbadia, social media influencer Apoorva Mukhija, comedian Samay Raina, Jasprit Singh, Ashish Chanchlani, and the show’s organizers. The complaint was lodged with the Mumbai Commissioner and the Maharashtra Women’s Commission, accusing them of using abusive language on the show.
The debate around India’s Got Latent continues, with different perspectives emerging. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
